I think I'm going to start a thing where each week, Saturday night before xur leaves, where I ask people's opinions about a weapon type. Since I'm in the market for a scout rifle, I'll start there. Scout rifles, the longest range primary and weapon of choice by many in pve, and is paired well with shotguns/fusions in pvp. Everyone knows about the vision of confluence as the only available rifle with solar damage and is probably the most commonly used, but what about exotics and the scouts sold by vendors? What are the best of them? And are there good ones only found through engrams and ranking a faction? Are there any of those worth finding? Leave the name, way to obtain, and why you like it.
