I had maxed out hunter and titan (before DLC that is), and a warlock that's moving up. I've completed many strikes, bested raids, dismantled countless blue items, and aquired more sapphire wire than I'll ever need. But then I got bored. It became endless repetition. Grinding, farming, grinding, more grinding, and more farming. I have raged against the RNG drops, and have been on both sides of one sided Crucible matches. I missed the excitement I had when I first started playing. Then I thought of an idea. I transfered all items from my titan to my itty bitty vault. Then, I deleted it. I created another hunter, and my experience with Destiny improved a bit. Now when I play with my second hunter, the missions have regained a sense of purpose. I no longer destroy my foes in patrol with one shot. I'm reliving the experiences I first had. I think I'll do it again once the next DLC comes around. TL;DR: I deleted a maxed character, started over, and I'm having a bit more fun. Should help those who are currently bored.
