Grimoire Score Ideas for Destiny 2

Bungie, via DeeJ, announced that character progress will carry over to the destiny sequel. Do you think grimoire scores will carry over, and if so, how would you like to see them implemented? I see an opportunity with the grimoire scores to both reward repeat customers, as well as a mechanism to keep us somewhat interested in the daily grind of a months-old game (Bungie hint: It wouldn't be a bad idea to announce a grimoire carryover to a sequel as well to keep your gamers locked into Destiny for awhile longer). Personally, I would love to see my efforts at collecting the grimoire cards and checking off as many of the challenges as possible recognized in some way moving forward as opposed to fading into distant memory. Here are some thoughts with questions in bold and my opinions following each as an example: First, a basic question. Do you want your destiny grimoire score to carry over? Of course I would! I'm a completionist and would like my gaming OCD to be appropriately identified, if not rewarded. Would you support a grimoire reward system for Destiny 2 either with a reward item at release or a reward system throughout the game? I would love to see some form of reward in a sequel. If we can get exclusive content for buying our game through GameStop, BestBuy, or whatever, then it seems reasonable to ask for an item recognizing our loyalty to the brand. This could easily be done with a reward item at release or a grimoire reward system throughout the game as your grimoire score increases, granting you bonus items in the form of gear, xp bonuses, shaders, etc.. If given a reward item at release for your previous grimoire, what would you like it to be? I can think of a few different options to kick-start the conversation, but this can take form in any number of ways. Shaders, XP bonuses to start the sequel, early access to a weapon (think level 10 weapon for Destiny when starting your first character) or armor, Class gear (i.e., special cloak, titan mark, or warlock bond), a special sparrow, or even a lousy ship (sorry, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little while imagining the reward at the end of my long journey to max grimoire resulting in my special ship cruising in at whatever amounts to the glorified loading screen in Destiny 2). Please RNGesus, don't let it be a ship. The reward could even be choosing between a few different options, and it could potentially be based on your Destiny grimoire score. For example, players with 2000 grimoire score would get Item A, 2250 grimoire Item B, 2500 grimoire Item C, and so on. If you would like to see a more complete reward system for Destiny 2, how would you want it to work? Right now, the score is just a score, with only a few glimmer drop bonuses and a few crucible drop rate options built in. It's a start, but it could be so much more in a sequel. You can read my previous question response for a handful of different rewards that could be built into an in-game reward system. This even feels like a bit of a missed opportunity by Bungie in Destiny, where you could entice your hardcore gamers to grind away to their heart's delight trying to track down that final elusive reward. Just for kicks, my current Grimoire score is 2630, so I'm fairly invested in this system.
