Every "Legitimate Complaint" about the DLC is a bunch of baseless whining.

Let us list the reasons starting with the most common complaints: Hard Raid Not Available upon release As it is right now there is no possibly way for you to be at 32 upon release. It would also be highly unlikely that anyone would hit 32 after the first raid runs. To be honest this gives people time to build up their light levels, enjoy the DLC, run the raid a few times, and have some decent gear for the runs ahead. Crota's end Primaries not available in normal mode This would be a more pressing issue if it was more like the first raid where primaries were a critical to dealing this a particular aspect of the raid, but that is not the case with Crota's end. While they new weapons are going to be good both in and out of the raid, there is the fact that the primaries would make the raid too easy (they deal bonus damage to the more powerful hive like the special and heavy weaponry). Resetting exotics to make them more powerful First off, this is purely optional. You do not have to do this if you are not willing to. Secondly, it doesn't takes nearly as long to upgrade an exotic as people want to think (especially armors). In all honesty if you do your quests each day (this goes even faster for crucible players) you can easily level up your weapons and armor extremely fast. Saying "It's a time sink" or "I shouldn't have to reset my progress", but if you think about it that is what this game is about in a way, everyone has to sink sometime in it and every week our progress on things are reset. You are getting more powerful weapons and armor for very little and in all honesty unless you want to try your chances at the new armor and weapons you will need to upgrade eventually. Current raid armor ad weapons are going to become useless as will the current raid This is not true in the least. The raid weapons and armor that you have now will still be useful in the future for strikes and the raid ahead (though not as useful as the next raids weapons an armor). In the future new players will be joining and they will need to know what to expect from the raid, what they can earn, and what steps need to be taken to complete it. There is also the fact that people still need to get the mythoclast, you have a somewhat good chance of getting an exotic, and now that you can reach higher light level the raid will be a lot easier and more open to people who aren't getting the DLC. Why should I get/worry about this DLC when most people are getting new weapons and armor for free Because there are some weapons.armors, ships, sparrows, and ghost fragments that you can't get unless you have the DLC. There are things that we will get the experience that the people without DLC won't be able to. We get to play the new story missions, the new strike(s), the new multi-player maps, and the new raid. They are giving everyone the new exotics and legendaries so they can still have something to do and not feel like they have an incomplete products while everyone else gets to experience new and exciting things. Most game devs will usually tell you to get the DLC or you can't really play anymore and Bungie isn't doing that. If none of you like what I have to say you are welcome to argue against me.
