SOLUTION for STRICT NAT, BOOTED OFFLINE, DISCONNECTION PROBLEMS:
Contact Comcast and tell them you need RE-PROVISIONED. They will rebuild your profile and fix all problems. Your ROUTER is not properly contacting your XBOX/PS3/4.
Side note: In the brief explanation you are allowed to describe your problem i put "I will be ending my services with Comcast unless this issue is fixed" This got me kicked up a level to a person who knew what they were doing.
EDIT: I have also found those using the rented Xfinity (Technicolor) Modem/Router combo are just screwed in general. Get the Arris model or the Modem for BLAST!
Please sticky this @Bungie and PLEASE UPVOTE. HELP THE GUARDIANS FIGHT BACK!

What you all want to do is put the Comcast gateway of any kind in bridgemode and supply your own router. Hardwire your Xbox for best service. If you continue to have issues reserve the ip your Xbox is on and set up a dmz for it or create all the port forwards for both destiny and Xbox live services. And for all those haters out there,...... I have had issues with both Verizon and Comcastservices. Keep your mouth shut if you can’t be helpful. P.S. - jccmcableguy if you don’t like working for the company and you can’t talk to customers with any respect you need to find a new line of work.

1 ReplyI have Comcast internet service and I pay for the 105mbps blast package. I also have a roommate who plays simultaneous with me on the same internet connection. We never have drops or connection problems. The problem isn't the internet it's the fact that you are usuing terrible modems/routers. We have a nice netgear modem and a nighthawk router.

Called Comcast had them RE-PROVISION my profile. It worked for about 30 min. Now im back to disconnection codes and attempting to reconnect to servers constantly. Have Tried hardwire connection and still have issues. Is this Comcast or Bungie? Who ever is to blame there are great number of us who have paid for services that are sub standard.

1 ReplyEdited by MrShadowHero: 1/29/2015 7:15:19 PMHi so i work for this elevated department you are talking about. the issue is that TC's are bad with VPN which is possible may be happening with destiny servers. what you really want to tell them is to enable DMZ. that will help us a ton. thanks :) ps. if you have an arris and range issues on the wireless. i'm so sorry

7 RepliesYou are a moron. As a person who works at comcast as a high level tech, you have no idea what you are taking about. There is so much wrong with your posts it isn't even funny. For one the new modem is an xb3. All our modems going out are d3 and they are not better then the d2s. They will not give you faster speeds unless you pay for blast. I dislike my company but I hate morons like you who think they know what they are taking about when they know jack sh*t.

1 ReplyComcast used to damn near have a monopoly in Pittsburgh, Verizon is finally starting to run fiber lines through neighborhoods. I can't wait to kick Comcast to the curb. Just have to convince the girlfriend though......

2 RepliesF@ck Comcast

2 RepliesI use Comcast as well. I just let the PS4 live in a DMZ. While i suppose this is a security risk (and NEVER do this with your PCs), I havent had any issue with doing this since the PS2 days. Xbox either, but i dont have XB1.

3 Repliesworked for 1/2 hour than caterpiller

1 ReplyI just got off the phone with Comcast, wish me luck man....ill let you all know how it worked out for me

If this works you're the real MVP. I've been dealing with this for about a month now & tried just about everything from resetting my router to port forwarding. It started with error codes and getting kicked offline. That ended about 2 weeks ago but now my NAT has been stuck on strict. Really hoping this fixes the problem
-
2 RepliesI assumed this was why some people I can't talk to in game chat. It says "no voice due to NAT issues". Even though I reset my router and it says my NAT type was open.

Knock on wood.. I use comcast but don't have any problems? I hardwire it in my Xbox
-
Edited by WormChi: 11/28/2014 7:39:14 AMSo I did this and they didn't know what I was talking about. What should I tell them, convert to Nat1? Do I then need to do anything to my PS? Additionally; why do all other games work, pvp works, but pve does not?

My buddy has Comcast and has problems crashing on Destiny... Thanks 4 da info!

8 RepliesTy. I have the nat warning every time I log on and voice chat is screwed up for 70% of people I add to my fire team.
