Now I was never at E3, but I did see the video with Halo 2. The thing that worries me the most is that the vehicles are going to be too real, that you'll get in one next think you know you tires are poped and you can barley move and then you blow up. And I really don't think they should have the guided missle thing because the rocket launcher is pretty powerful without it.

The vehicles are just fine and Bungie is making ti so that it is not a total pain to the player as they drive with maybe two tires. So don't worry. And the rocket is jsut fine how they edited it. Just forces players to be more careful and skillful.

Just relax! bungie will make this a great game, they wouldnt change something unless it makes it better
-
tires in milatary vehicles are bullet proof dont worry about that and the guided rockets im sure will be easy enough to dodge.
-
The rocket launcher is also much weaker than in the first Halo. It took like 4 or 5 rockets to kill the guy in the warthog, and both times he died because the warthog exploded.

Bungie is trying to even things out in Halo 2... Now that vehicles are destrutible and can be damaged its harder to drive because in halo the vehicles were cheap. you just run over them. also the rocket i think will only work on vehicles it also depends where u hit them in the vehicle. you hit the back they probably wont die. hit the front... well you know wat happens. Im also sure u can drive with out 2 wheels. you just wouldnt go very fast...

I am hoping you guys are right, I have Halo 2 limited edition pre-order. And I am not saying that I think Halo 2 is going to be bad or anything I just had some concerns that's all. HALO ROCKS!!!
-
i noticed that destructible vehicles is getting negative feedback.. i personally LOVE it... i HALO, when you are sitting in the driver seat and someone shoots the tires, you would lose health... not in HALO 2... the vehicle will lose health(you know what i mean), and you wont unless YOU got shot...

The vehicle damage doesn't follow perfect physics and realism. The tires pop, but not from bullets but from just taking general damage to that area. Even then the vehicle will still drive. Better then that, you can take four rockets to your warthog before it blows up providing none of them hit YOU instead of the vehicle. Back in Halo1 you'd be dead on the first rocket even if it just scraped your bumper. Secondly, even if you're in the vehicle when it finally blows up, sure you take damage but it's not instant death anymore. It just stuns you for a moment and you have to bail in case it blows up a second time. In general, a lot more thought has gone into the vehicles this time around.

From what I read somewhere, when your vehicle is FUBARed your controller vibrates too increasing degrees depending on how wrecked it is, I dunno if it goes slower or not, or it gets more difficult ot control on top of it, but it may just be the vibration so it wouldn't mkae too much difference if that was the case.
