So simple and cannot believe it has not been implemented. Basically, behind the vanguard table where that big window is, place a little lounge there. Add some couches (each one has 3 seats, and pressing a certain button actually lets you sit on them) and a fireplace or something. Behind this litle lounge there is a Board like the bounty board but slightly bigger. When you interact with it, up comes a window. There is a whole bunch of tabs on it. At the top there is Add your Fireteam and Remove your Fireteam. Below it is a whole bunch of tabs. Each of these are fireteams. Each of one also has a name and a description.
To add your fireteam, you click add fireteam and a keyboard comes up. Now you can enter the name of your fireteam, a description (optional) and then you create a level requirement. Now you press enter.
Your fireteam is now up on the LFG. Anyone who clicks on it will be able to join if they want (as long as they are the required level). When they cick join, a prompt comes up on the fireteam leaders screen. It will show the players character that wants to join, and the leader can choose to acept or deny.
This is for players that don't know about the community's destiny lfgs. It also is a lot easier, and a good solution to raid/heroic/nightfall matchmaking which many players seem to want.
Amendment: There will be a selection menu for differen activites. There is a bunch of icons. All the strike icons, heroic strike icon, nightfall strike icon, raid icon, story icon, crucible icon, patrol icon. When you are creating a fireteam you will have to choose one of these. When a player hovers of this icon, it will say: (Activity) (description)(level Requirement)(Fireteam leader). Clicking on it will send a request to the fireteam leader. If you are not at the level requirement, it will deny you from sending a request.

THIS ISNT LIMITED TO 1 TOWER INSTANCE, IT SHOWS UP ON EVERYONES LFG SYSTEM IN NORTH AMERICA OR EUROPE (DEPENDS WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED)

Just do some networking, it is a valuable life skill.

If we can get this thread on trending, maybe bungie will see.... (Sounding pretty naive, but whats the harm in trying?)

How about a bonfire?
PRAISE THE SUN!!!!!
No idea why this isn't in the game yet. It should give you the option to mandate a light level and should require a mic to participate. The raid really isn't that hard, even with kids that haven't done it before.
-
Frankly it's ridiculousness that we don't already
-
I wish it had a lfg area or even matchmaking. I don't understand why they haven't done this already.
-
To add to this, I think there should be sorting options like: Mode: Normal/Hard Experience: Number of Raids attempted Raid Completion: The furthest they have made it to in the Raid Raid Checkpoint: Their current Raid checkpoint This way, beginners can all group up without everybody getting angry at them and it would be easier for beginners to find each other.

Edited by Lord Yesua: 11/16/2014 7:04:39 PMI agree that we need an in-game LFG for sure. I think that this should be on a larger scale. Only a limited number of people enter the tower at one time, but there are millions playing. You'd be far more likely to get a group with an in-game LFG menu giving you access to the multitudes across the world looking for groups .... Your name, level, and character would be advertised on the in-game LFG forum for others to see if you are a suitable candidate.

Edited by StrykerRFN: 11/3/2014 2:53:45 AMHard to vote: I like the concept, not to fond of the specifics in your plan. Some suggestions: No typing, it is just annoying having to spell things out like I'm using a ouija board. What would be the point of the descriptions I wonder? To flag things like "speed run", "hard mode", or "cheesing boss"? I guess that would work, but 8 still just don't like the idea of typing on console. I would suggest having selection menus instead, for instance being run, level, player type needed (if you need a specific class), number of players needed (this would maybe auto complete based on current fire team size and instance chosen), and then comment (maybe here a typed thing if wanted. I would also suggest having each created LFG appear just like the bounties, with a first clear icon to indicate which strike is being asked for. Hovering would show the rest of the details. Selecting this would alert the creator that another player wants to join their fireteam, with a confirmation dialogue. Just some thoughts. In all, I would like to see something like this is game. But I don't think it is simple to put in.
