People have been saying, 23 for body shots and 35 for precision shots. Yesterday PRE-NERF it was 41 for body shots and 51 for precision shots (keep in mind I'm using smart drift for less impact) here comes some math.
with the 34% that should have dropped 41 to 27 not 23 as TheRealBGoat says and 27 x 1.5 (new headshot multiplier) precision shots should be around 40-41, not 35. I was talking about this in another topic and someone else agreed with me and said that, this isn't a 34% debuff, it's a 43%.
My question is, is there a flaw in my math? or is it all correct and bungie is just screwing players with VMC over?
Edit: As of 1:41 PST, I will be testing each "sight" Aggressive Ballistics, Linear Compensator, Smart Drift Control at close range and then doing the percentages for each damage value these sights have.
Aggressive Ballistics - 26 body, 38 head.
Linear Compensator - 25 body, 37 head.
Smart Drift Control - 23 body, 35 head.
Sadly I was not able to test Aggressive Ballistics and Linear Compensator PRE-NERF to see the base damage. But I think it's enough information to see what's happened.
