The galaxy? LOL You're disastrously misinformed. Destiny takes place only in our solar system, not our entire galaxy... It seems like many people all over are making this idiotic mistake, thinking Destiny takes place around the entire galaxy or even multiple galaxies. It always gets me irritated; I don't know why...

The joke is ---> Your head is --->

I just thought OP was talking about the series (even though we don't even have the first game yet) *cries*

Destiny 2...

Edited by Teyon: 9/1/2014 12:59:15 PMAs our solar system is a part of the Milky Way Galaxy, the statement still applies. Traveling through our solar system is still traveling through our galaxy when last I checked. Also, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy joke totally seems to have gone over your head.

Edited by TehPwnShow: 9/2/2014 12:41:02 AMWith your logic, when the barbarians took back their home in Britain from the Romans, they in effect took back the galaxy. Because hell, isn't Britain located inside the galaxy?

Sweet mother of god O.O ( mind blown )

Why does it matter? You will NEVER even leave this planet. The solar system might as well be a myth.
-
Doesn't it say something about our destiny being to walk under the light of other stars?
-
Yes, it does. But I severely doubt that'll happen in this game. We might possibly be able to do it in the next Destiny game or WoW-like expansion or whatever they try to do to on this 10-year thing of theirs

You sir, are not a hoopy frood... You are an idiot bud, take your ignorance and terrible sense of humor elsewhere.

Why am I an idiot? Please ellaborate, my mentally superior friend.

Also, you don't have a towel.

This is simply a unification of sorts in regards to two separate works of art. It is the combination of Destiny mixed with The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, written by Douglas Adams. I could have said solar system in my OP but that would have detracted from the Douglas Adams reference. Lets say for a second that i truly was under the belief that the titan was the most well equipped guardian to take back the galaxy. Explain to me why that statement could be completely false. The darkness has creeped into our galaxy, no? The guardians are trying to fight back against it in order to destroy/ eradicate it from the galaxy in order to restore peace. The guardians journey doesn't end after they have eradicated the darkness from our measly solar system, their mission expands to the light of new stars, as is stated in the game itself. So you see, either way you are wrong.
