I was playing co op for the longest time with a friend from COD and was in the tower with the legendary cape from the iron banner and suddenly about 4 people were following me while crouching. Me: "Ugh Saint!" Saintnickie: "Yeah?" Me: "People are following me... I think their bowing down to me?" Saintnickie: "Must be the cape. " Me: "Huh... " -Turns around to them and dances showing off cape.- "Bow down!" -Couple minutes later they still follow me around to which I get annoyed and start to run around to escape but fail. I just add them into the party and lucky enough they had mics.- Me: "What's the deal?" Group: "You have a cool cape." Long talk later I made more friends. Besides just randomly telling people to add me on ps3 even though I won't add them until I can confirm they are adding me for Destiny and aren't the random friend requests I get on COD for being the one killing them the most.

Mostly I just plan on being a rather decent guy as I can be. If possible, I'd give away old gear to someone of a lower level that may need it more, or just trade/sell it at a lower price. Meet people through missions or random strikes, or just lending a hand in general. Giving the gift of good-quality weapons to someone that would actually use them, as I'm just not keen on scout/pulse/fusion rifles. All in all, I figure assisting someone in some way can wind up reason enough to talk to a fellow guardian, and perhaps a bond can form from there. I like to think it's far less complicated to make a buddy out of a random encounter than some people think. And for the record, I'd like to say that just because someone might help a lady-guardian out, doesn't mean we're plotting something devious. A wave is just a wave...and other times it's someone frantically signaling that there's a loot box nearby and you're going the wrong way. Peace, Love, and Light. ~A

Definitely not on here.... look at the post people create....
-
I just talk to people here, play with people in game and be cool. I get along with most people and I like making friends.

Dance off challenges!!
-
Three words: random dance parties
-
> Follow a guy. > Help him kill things, dance occasionally. > Get fireteam request in 5 minutes. > Talk, get friend request. > Success!
-
It's harder than you think. The best way is to join a clan that. Most of your Psn friends are in
-
Too bad there's no proximity chat
-
Step 1: Go to tower. Step 2: Go to roster thing and invite everyone to a fireteam: Step 3: Play some games like Explore or Crucible. Step 4: Add them as a friend (if you haven't already). Step 5: Voice chat and have fun with your new friend! (Note: you may have to go to several different tower lobbies until someone joins your game.)
-
Be in Explore mode, follow 1 person & ask if i may join their fireteam, help him/her through one mission and repeat.
-
I've mostly been using the forums; I'm really hoping they add some sort of open chat at some point.
-
Have same level, shoot to get attention, wave and ask them if they want to do a raid.
-
I have no friends and my life is sh8:(

Edited by Ultron: 8/30/2014 3:15:24 AMI meet them in strike and look at the stats, I look at the amount of kills / headshot/ death. If they are good I end up sending a friend request, knowing that I am godlike in Destiny PvE, the Friend request is answered fast and he join the chat room since it is public. I Duo Queue with him/her on the next strike and find some one else that is also good.

I think either in the tower with randoms or who ever I see kicking ass in a "live event" or whatever the -blam!- you call it when everyone teams up to -blam!- shit up!
-
I don't know how. I do think I got friends on my PSN that also get Destiny, otherwise I'll just set Fireteam to open.
-
I always set my fireteam to open so randoms can join. Easy way to make friends since you can always kick people that suck from your fireteam.

By being creepy and playing bad.

I made a friend playing Destiny. It was 5 in the morning and I had been killing the Fallen and Hive all day. So I decided to hang out in the last city. While there, a friend and I decided to dance with some fellow Guardians. After our dance party on the fan, things became heated, and that's when it started.... The humping.... We were in a dancing craze, and it all came out of hand. It was a giant guardian orgy... Everyone was getting into it, but then someone left.... And I wasn't gonna let that happen! I ran after her and kept the orgy alive within her (or him)! When I caught up, the T-bagging began! My friend came up with me and we followed her around no matter where she went. But we weren't alone. One of the other orgy members came with us to join the fun. When she finally went into orbit to escape, the stranger joined our party and turned out to be a really chili and cool guy. First friend in Destiny!
