  • True, hopefully bungie smartens up like Microsoft..... but unfortunately it took microsoft a lot of bad press and lack of pre orders for them to actually change their minds...

  • Your logic makes no sense. Bungie has no bad press and no lack of pre orders. You are only part of a very vocal minority that cares.

  • I was using microsoft and their pre orders as an example that usually companies don't make changes unless they start to lose money. But a guess that went over your head. And as I've stated before, this game will be awesome even without private lobbies. But it has the potential to be a lot better. Plus if you think that not many people care, then go look back at the amount of clans and tournaments that went on in Halo.........

  • This isn't halo, 75% of the people buying this game don't give a rats ass about pvp. It is a primarily pve game.

  • It is heavily focused on PVE but a lot of people like and will be playing the PVP well after the PVE gets boring. Plus bungie put a lot of emphasis and hype on their PVP so it doesn't make sense to leave popular features out of it.

  • Yeah except destiny is not lacking in pre orders by any stretch of the imagination. Seems they are doing fine to me.

  • Oh hell yeah, destiny is doing great and will be great regardless of private lobbies or not. But why not appeal to even more gamers and add more replay value to the game if its as easy as just adding private lobbies? Why settle for doing great when you can do even better..

  • Because adding lobbies isn't as simple as you make it out to be. You saw their fireteam system and how hard it was to deal with, you couldn't even be in a party while in a fireteam. I think they need to work that out before they consider private matches.

  • Ummmmm I was in a party while in a fireteam at the same time, this is the first time I'm hearing about someone having this issue as well. And considering that private lobbies is apart of most games that have a PVP it can't be too hard to do... heck even some ten year old games have it.
