EDIT: CONTEST IS OVER Thanks for participating :) DESTINY WEAPON ART CONTEST The Topic Your dream Destiny weapon. It can be a weapon already in the game, or it can be of your own imagination. Guns, knives, rocket launchers, scythes, and brass knuckles are just a few examples. Bonus points if your piece shows a guardian holding or using the weapon. Deadline All submissions must be made in this thread before September First, 09/01/2014 at 12:01am PDT First Place Prize $50 gift code for either Xbox or Playstation, courtesy of OutHouse and PRIMEGUARD! Second Place Prize A $20 voucher for most any gaming platform, the winner chooses their platform and I send them the code. Third Place Prize $10 gift code for either Xbox or Playstation, if anyone would like to sponsor this award, PM me, I will grant you a seat on the panel of judges :) More prizes will be announced if I can find sponsors. Rules *important to read* All forms of visual art, including videos, are allowed. Please link your image in a comment on this thread, submissions by private message will be disqualified, it's hard to keep track of who submitted what when I need to go way back into my PM history. One submission per-person, you can always put multiple works into a single image. If you used photomanipulation/Base-Layer references, please credit your sources in your submission comment. I cannot stress this enough, I have been forced to disqualify good art in the older contests because the artists neglected to credit non-Bungie sources of Destiny art, not everything Google Images shows is made by Bungie’s art team. If the art WAS made by Bungie, or is a screenshot from the game, just credit “Bungie.” All submissions must be Safe For Work, and not surpass the T for Teen rating. Keep it clean, keep it classy. Also, I do not own the work that you submit, I’m not buying it in any way by giving you a prize, it belongs entirely to you and Bungie, not me. I’m just a host :) Judges: OutHouse Progo A super secret group of art fanatics who paint by the light of the moon. Best of luck to all contestants, -Art&Stuff -PRIMEGUARD -OutHouse -PermeableProgo P.S. all skill levels are welcome, these art contests exist to encourage aspiring artists to break out a pencil and paper and get practice.

EDIT: I got it up. Ok I'm not at all an expert artist or anything but I was doodling and I got carried away and I ended up with this. I kinda like it. I had to beef up the contrast and had to darken up lines so the picture is actually visible. I blame my crappy camera that kept capturing grainy, blurry stuff. Kinda disappointing really. But whatever right? It's all for fun and what not. Anyway this dude's supposed to be a scavenger-scout type, less concerned with affairs of slaying the Darkness and evil and stuff and more concerned about just surviving. His gear's more just found, make-shift stuff and he's not really affiliated with the Guardians. He's packing a CSC-7 Linear Motor Carbine that shoots programmable matter rounds. There are several ammunition types available for versatility. Fin-Stabilized Kinetic Airburst Rounds (FSKAR) air burst near a target or over cover for maximum kinetic yield and killing power. The rounds are smart detonated with the ballistics computer scope attached to the top of the gun that can also be wired into the helmet display, which is why he's got a huge modern/next-gen fighter pilot inspired visor. A perfect long to mid range engagement weapon because of the accuracy of the bullet/computer systems combo. Armor Piercing Hyper-Velocity rounds are also available for close quarters engagements. The magnetic linear motor is especially effective with these rounds as they have a ferrofluid core that hyperaccelerates the bullets. The CSC-7's ergonomic design coupled with APHV rounds makes it a favorable weapon in CQC. I might clean this up with ink but my pens are all running really low.
