Decrypting LOOTED engrams at the cryptarch is totally fine.
But buying rares and exotics from him is BS

agreed, in a real life scenario the dude would have taken the time to decrypt the engrams he has then recrypt them, why would he give someone a rare/exotic for the same price as a normal gun. Plus it awards gamers for doing absolutely nothing (expect farming exploits)
