I've started a front-end version of a clan website, hopefully get something to show you in a week or so. If everyone is happy with it I'll look into getting it to work. I'm also hoping I can link to official Destiny profiles in the future... If anyone has anything they want to contribute/suggest at this stage let me know, otherwise I look forward to your feedback once I've shown you what I'm working on.

Calendar, News Feed and a Roster I think are essential. Thank you for your hard work. I know how much of a pain HTML/Java can be. Even with programs to help you.

  • I second these. Being able to see who's who and a consolidated roster/events list would be great. Are there XB Live or Bungie API's out there? Like to see who's online doing what? A way to see who from our clan is online and what they're doing would be great. I suppose that depends on API's and what info Destiny makes available. A status that says "Cambonez (Online, XB1, Level 6 Strike)" or the like would be pretty great. And if there's any way to auto-update our levels/classes/etc with our roster, that would obviously be really great. Once again, just a wish list and not sure what API's, if any, are available. Thanks for doing this! Excited to see what you come up with!

  • There isn't an official API, but I read a rumour there maybe in the future. There is at least one independent one out there, an another guy I've seen working on one, but I have no clue about how to actually use APIs. I've only ever used the twitter one (followed a simple tutorial). If you know anything about using them I'd appreciate some help.

  • I haven't used API's before. My web design years are about a decade old and very limited. In recent years, the closest thing I've used is https://ifttt.com/ for feeding information between services. Maybe there's some way to concoct our own info stream if no API's become available but I doubt that'll be necessary.
