I'm fine with the current system of elemental damage, I would not want to have to drop 3 times the weapon I like with different elements just to be so much more efficient if they make elements a super important thing, also it's just easier to tell weakness that way and it's not like the shield is really made of fire...

  • I'm not talking about about redoing the element system entirely. I'm just suggesting they switch the shield colors around so that they match the native element of the race using them. Also, it doesn't matter if the shield is really made of fire or not, the fact is that it looks like it is. Unless there's something that tells the player "By the way, enemies color coded their shields to match the element their weak against" the players first instinct probably wont be to shoot the shield that looks like its made of fire with more fire.

  • What tells you that your ghost just makes you see them the right color ? I'd rather keep it simple that way... even if they switch color it's whatever, I don't see why someone think it matters so much.

  • It doesn't matter that much, but unfortunately it seems only the small suggestions have a chance at actually being added to the game. I just don't think they should sacrifice logic to color code the shields. It's a simple change that I think is worth the little effort it takes to implement. I know from playing the beta, orange shields on Hive wizards that use purple energy felt out of place to me. I'm just asking for an aesthetic change that makes the game make a little more sense. Also, where does it say that the shield isn't made out of the element it's colored?
