Sorry but the wizard has a solar energy shield. But the weapons I haven't noticed the element they use.

But they gave him the shield with the intent of having him be WEAK against solar damage. If the Hive is void based, wouldn't make more sense for them to have a void shield (a shield made of void energy I mean)? Yes the result would be the same as before, but now the wizard is using their traditional element. All I'm suggesting is a bit of shield swapping to make it more logical.

Hive isn't void smart one, just because they shoot particles that might look like they could be void doesn't mean it is. If the wizard is weak who's to say the rest of the hive isn't or maybe even arc, we don't know yet.

Yes I see I think I may mis understood what you were saying. I thought you said the Wizards shield was void, which in beta was solar. But yes it would be logical. But then there is the fact the Hide are mostly seen in dark spaces (moon and the dark part of the cosmodrome), of course there are exceptions. But it seems they Don't favor sunlight. But as I said it would be logical for them to use Void shields. Also do you gave any theory on the aspect of the cabal as to what shield they might use. I think they will be using a kinetic shield, course this is a mere theory.

Kinetic is just your guns over all damage. Really guys the kid even linked the video which explains this in the post comments. Also it's not that hard to figure out considering every single weapon had the kinetic damage stat on them.

I do know what kinetic is I saw the video it was just a theory as seeing some videos and pictures of the cabal carrying giant shields not the Energy based ones. But again I repeat it was just a theory.

I don't it might be, however i don't that's the cause because kinetic is on ever weapon which would make ever gun do bonus damage on them and I don't think that would be the case.

Yes but remember not all guns are kinetic as a good amount of Specials have Elemental Damage and there is a primary with elemental damage so who knows there might be other?

Yeah but they all have kinetic damage every guy even if they have an element they also keep kinetic.

Wow I completely forgot about their giant ass shields. That just makes us more right, cause kinetic is really the only "element" that can beat itself.

Actually no, kinetic is a non-elemental damage type. Every weapon had an IMPACT stat on them, which determined how much damage would be dealt per shot. If the gun dealt kinetic damage, the damage determined by the impact stat would have no special properties.

According to the leaked list of story missions we've found, it seems mars will be the final destination in the campaign, as well as the highest level explore area. Perhaps the cabal deal kinetic damage, but use every type of elemental shield. This would make them the most difficult race to plan for, and certainly pose a challenge in the final story missions of the game.

Yes it might be so. Plus, the way they look screams brute force and relentlessly merciless. I still do remember a line from I don't know where that said(if remember correctly) "A group of guardians shot a cabal point blank the preceding sound terrified them to their very core. It started to laugh". This line just makes them feel menecing and we haven't even encountered them.
