where is the Destiny ghost edition ??? will bungie hear the cry of thousands ?
I'm sure destiny fans are everywhere are quite disappointed with the number of copy's of the destiny's ghost edition where made for all the platforms. I for one pre ordered a regular copy of the game the day the game was announced for pre order not knowing anything about the game , weather it was a shooter , rpg or whatever . I had no clue what the game was about nor ever seen any pictures or videos of the game . The reason why I pre order the game blindly was for the love and respect i had for bungie and nothing else. I grew up with bungie's games i played the first halo when it first came out and always played every halo game with the limited edition they had. I just had so much faith in bungie in making another spectacular game that i just bought it and have the poster sealed up in my room to prove it, I personally wouldn't cared if the actual game sucked I would have still played it with a smile on my face just like you guys. I played the beta and god how much i enjoyed it and was heart broken to see it leave so now i got up in the morning today turned on my computer saw a video of destiny telling me they are making better and bigger editions you can pre order so i got up showered and took my skate board fast to my nearest game stop happy as can be and pumped up to purchase it when the sales clerk laughing at me said "dude your late as hell that was a month ago we sold out in 5 hours " Now i wanna hear form you guys and tell me what is it you think about the shortage , i wanna hear form you guys and would love to read you comments and stories im sure bungie will be kind enough knowing how generous they are to their loyal fans like you and me and make more copies to go around to all their fans. I know bungie said they wanted to make a truly limited edition featuring a ghost but i think that's gone way to far , i wanted the ghost so bad . I think it shouldnt have been a matter of chance but of choice , buying these editions show our frenids how much we love and suport our gaming companys for the great times they give us , Love Rorshack

Learn to use paragraphs please. Go and moan to either Activision, as they are the publisher, or the store that over sold the special editions, it's not Bungie's fault.

But he wouldn't be buying up items if there weren't a market willing to pay. Blame those people with enough money to pay scalpers their prices and are stupid enough to do so. Otherwise I'm fine with truly limited editions.

11 RepliesWell it seems ebay has ghost editions going for $1000+ did anyone actually buy one to keep it or just trying to make a buck. Bungie should troll these auctions and offer up ghost editions for $150 to anyone bidding. This is what pisses me off more than anything, I remeber when ps4 came out when I was waiting for it to release at midnight there was a guy in front of me who preordered 50 of them, 5 from each store in the area. He had pockets full of receipts and was thumbing through them to find the ones from the store I was at. This scavenger mentality is disgusting.

4 RepliesThey are called limited for a reason. And besides, they still sell last gen I think. Just buy one of them, and buy a second normal game for the game. Then sell the game that came with the ghost edition or limited edition.

Even now, a store that might be sold out in pre-orders might take more after a few days. Activision will keep making them and stores will keep restocked as long as its profitable.

I was able to get one for the ps4, and I got the limited for xb1. As soon as they announced them I pre-ordered at gamestop. Same thing I did with my xb1 and ps4. If you know something is gonna be in limited quantities or sell out quickly common sense should tell you to pre order once it's announced. I got both my consoles day 1 and I'm gonna get both my editions day one.

5 RepliesI was on vacation when they announced it... Was able to get a limited, which is what I wanted, as soon as I got back which was the weekend after it was announced. If you really wanted it, you should not have waited a month to try to go get it... It is your own fault really... Don't blame Bungie cause you didn't get out on your skate board sooner...
