Your logic is flawed, just because you chose to do it doesn't mean you should be rewarded for making that choice. I think the way it works is great. Having to think ahead and make him choices accordingly is half the fun Also to your sense of reality comment, do you think real soldiers carry around every type of ammo just in case they walk by a gun and decide to use it? I think it's more realistic that you would only carry ammo for the weapons you're using at the given time

  • Do you carry more than three weapons at a time? Why? If you think ahead you do not need to, correct? Isn't the hand cannon basically as powerful as a shotgun? Shouldn't primary weapon also lose it's ammo if you switch weapons with your logic? You did not read my post well did you? I made a similar comment about hunting, but if a soldier has a shotgun and sniper rifle and he shoots his sniper rifle the shotgun does not lose it's ammo. So to your question as I stated I would carry ammo for the shotgun, sniper and Scout rifle I am carrying, yes. If a soldier would pick up a rifle he walked by and then got ammo for it the rest of the weapons he has do not drop their ammo. If I have my AR, 45 pistol and Mossberg shotgun at the range and switch to my 45 from my AR, my shotgun does not suddenly become empty.

    If the hand cannon is as powerful as a shotgun, carry that around then and you have no reason to switch. Lol. Problem solved Primaries don't lose their ammo because they tend to be all around guns. It's most likely just so you can't be stranded with no ammo at all totally defenseless I'm not trying to troll I just don't see the point in changing it, it's a bit of a hindrance but nothing huge. It would break the continuity between solo and multi as well which I think would be a worse consequence than losing ammo.

  • I just do not like the hand canon, I am not as good with it and I also am mediocre with the shotgun, lol.

  • 'More realistic'? In Destiny? It's got matter transporters, space magic, aliens and 'Wizards from the moon'. I respect your opinion to prefer losing secondary ammo when switching weapons but seriously, 'logic and realism' don't really play any part in it.

    The op was the one to say about realism. I was just pointing out his logic was flawed. It shouldn't work a certain way because of one person's choices. I think it fits well the way it is for continuity reasons from pve to pvp. Unsure if you are replying specifically to me or to the toxic creator

  • Not specifically to you just a point in general. I posted as a poll to see how many others feel the same way, I would not want it changed just for me, as I stated in the OP it is a minor issue. I know a lot of the people here care more for PvP, and I like it as well, but I like the story modes better. All games require a suspension of disbelief to get into them, so that is why I stated the bit about the reality of the game.

  • It is not being rewarded for making a choice. How is my logic flawed? That is thinking ahead, bringing the weapons I think I will need, and making that weapon active when I need to get some ammo. It is preparing for the situations, proactive, and not reactive thinking If any thing it is kind of being punished for making a choice.
