Nicely done, all very interesting stuff, I so think the fallen were employed by the traveler, especially seeing as they are split up, maybe the traveler tried to use them to fight the darkness but they were too prone to fighting each other, or perhaps too primitive. And I love your take on how humanity is taking much of the traveler light as magic when perhaps long ago humanity was near intelligent enough to understand some of the travelers workings.
