I found that unlike in Halo, in Crucible, hell in PvE aswell, you were [i]constantly[/i] switching up weapons depending on your mood and how the match/mode/activity was shaping up. If anything, pulse rifles (in the Alpha) didn't hold a candle to the Galahad-C (an auto rifle). Which was [i]easily[/i] the favorite weapon among crucible players. It has since been nerfed. TL;DR: It is WAY too early to draw conclusions about player patterns. Too much is still in flux.
