Why do people pick Warlock over the Titan?
Why dont people like the titan. In my opinion the warlock doesnt seem strong. [b][u]Note: i said in [i]my opinion. [/i][/u][/b]The titan will get in your face and punch it. I will [b]shoulder bardge[/b] you in the balls. My titan will live by one rule. [i]When reason doesnt work, use brute force. [/i] [b]# Titan[/b] This post is to see what people like in the Warlock. Im not dissing the class. I like the class it seems cool. I just want to know why. [spoiler]and hunters unless you have some good points to make. Just read and go. Dont respond with follish comments. Like any mmo style game there are a wide variety of gamers who play them. The tank who can take a lot of damage and deal it out will wade into the enemies with large weapons and take them out or die trying The run and gunners are usually in it for their own KDR and to level up as far as they can and will usually care very little about their team except when they need help. These 2 will usually play titan The team players who like to take a back seat and support the tank with health, ammo, repairs and other support will usually play warlocks The snipers who hang back and pick off enemies from a distance stealth players who sneak in and get the objective or take out enemies with causing a massive alarm These 2 will usually play as hunter. Hopefully we wont get too many run and gun gung ho players but its hard to avoid

I picked another class over Titan because of the fact that it "will get up in your face and punch it." I am more of a mid range player. I get all jerky and disorientated when I don't have a nice distance between me and my opponent. This is a weakness I have been trying to overcome. In the meantime though more space up my survivability quite a bit.

3 RepliesI also like and will use the Titan. What disturbed me the mist though was that the Titan was the only one to go down (KO'd) in the recent gameplay. That leads me to two thoughts. Either A) the Titan needs a defense buff to actually assume the role of "Titan", or B) whoever was using/playing the Titan needs to go back to playing hello kitty island adventure. Which they also were terrible aim my gawd.

Don't get me wrong the hunter is what I'm after to start the game and the ghost gun looks awesome but It's one shot one kill. Not one shot 4 kills.

Edited by DEZARATH: 5/8/2014 1:45:23 PMThe reason is the Titan doesn't look right. In order to keep a similar profile the Titan is in definition underwhelming due to hit box constraints in PVP. For all the armor he looks too small and out of place next to both the Warlock and Hunter. I think because of the armor to cloth ratio. He doesn't match with them. The Hunter and Warlock look like they belong in Destiny's post apocalyptic settings. While the Titan seems to not quite gel. I think Bungie should have gone the soldier's route with a webbing and canvas ratio. A tank needs to be a tank. That means he's larger than usual and meant to attract the fire of the enemy giving the other classes a chance to do their attended objectives. The Titan doesn't match his name sake. If he was larger, or had more combat Kevlar option that matched his current size, I think he would be very popular.

Because people have different opinions over thing, plus that is kinda good for us titans because the supply and demand for us will be higher making it good for us to be mercenaries if you can trade glimmer with others assuming of course.
