I've also heard an extension of this theory that the Night's King is a warg that is controlling the Three-Eyed Crow to manipulate Bran but this is somewhat irrelevant. This episode description is a major reveal because as far as I'm aware this has not been stated in the books and the Others are still extremely mysterious (I'm still working on Book 5).
