Achievement whores

Not me really, but check out my friend N1ghtmare 26. Some of the games he doesn't even own, but just borrows to get the achievements.

I'm happy when I get achievements, but don't go after them on purpose, Like driving around with a mongoose all the matches on highground, just to get mongoose mowdown

Personally, I consider achievements to be akin to underwear. Nearly everyone has some. For some people it is important, and they want to have the most amazing and impressive collection. Some people show theirs to everyone who will look, other people let theirs hang out, other people share it with their friends. Some folks just consider it part of their clothes and don't give it much thought. Some people have clean, some people don't care. Some people have some with holes in it, other people wear nothing but..... Most people aren't interested in seeing yours. *shrug* We're all naked underneath it anyway.

Some games I like to go out and try to get all achievements for something to do, but I wouldn't call myself an achievement whore. *looks around* *steals achievements* I NEED MOAR! MOAR! *runs*

achievements are fun to do, it lets you play with a different perspective. i have them all and i had a good time getting them. i dont think that makes me a whore

There are few games where ive actually cared. The exceptions are halo 3, COD 4 and Mass Effect. I am a little pissed however that the COD 2 achievements, which I got offline, didnt update once i went back online again. [Edited on 12.03.2007 2:57 PM PST]

i like to get achievements very much and do things in games that i own to get all the achievement points that i can ( i LOVE the feeling of getting 1000/1000 in games, my 1000/1000 list is currently- Halo 3, Bioshock, DiRT, CoD 2, Need for Speed:MW, and maybe a few more. i almost have it in GoW, Crackdown, Prey) i do not however go out and buy Cars or NHL 2K6 for the achievements i just enjoy getting them and go out of my way to do so without being a flat out whore about it my GS is 15,265

I wouldn't call myself a whore, because I don't rent or buy games for achievements, but if I do rent or buy a game then I try to get as many points as I can out of it. And I have 23,500 GS. [Edited on 12.03.2007 2:57 PM PST]

[/quote] *proudly accepts* i think they are fun and i have an ongoing competition with my friend to see who can get their's higher, he just recently bought Cars and NHL and NBA 2K6 just for the achievements, so he is worse than me
