Well, maybe I missed that information, but I really want to know if you would be able to choose your gender in the game.
If you can't... Well... I'll play it anyway XD.

Felt like bumping this thread instead of creating a new one. A few nice new details in an IGN interview with Staten, and genders are confirmed.
"What kind of character do I want to be in the world? Do I want to be a man or do I want to be a woman? That's a choice we never gave someone in the Halo games."
Edited by Reneta Scian: 3/19/2013 3:55:48 AMAll I know is that I'll protest if they make another game without the ability to create a female character. They have all the Halo games, and with the exclusion of Reach, and other multiplayer aspects, it would be wholly sexist if they only allowed you to make male characters. Especially for being a shared world... There would be no artistic license excuse, and I don't know about you personally, but I find the lack of female characters in games really obnoxious. I also find the fact that when they display character art that their are no female models to be rather irritating. Women are 50% of the population and around half of all gamers, and it is kind of messed up that we aren't represented in games at the same rate. So many games cater to men, with male protagonists, and it's kind of garbage.

Nope. No gender for you.

I'm sure you can, you've been able to since Halo 3.

Yes, gender is an option Breasts have been confirmed

I don't know.. I wouldn't really care that much personally but I could see why others would want the option. Also we need to be able to have left handed characters. Because customization.
