As some of you know, I recieved my Halo 3 copy today from the Pontiac contest. I have been playing campaign fine by myself for about an hour. My brother just got here and we went in to do some splitscreen co-op campaign, and bam... Theres black bars on the left and right side of the screen! I tried going through every setting, reading the manual, checked my Xbox360 settings but it wont change! Any suggestions (or anyone else with their copy confirm this issue?)
Thanks.

The fact that Bungie thinks that they've contructed the perfect solution scares me a little. So they're saying, even when "Halo 4" comes out this is the only solution. How about with "Halo 5"? Obviously this is a fixable issue because Bungie is the only company that suffers from this. I play Gears and Call of Duty and ANY other split screen 360 game and I don't notice any problems. I think Bungie is forgetting that the majority of players play split screen. Just because it is not a vocal crowd, it doesn't mean we should be ignored. Guys start another thread of something, get attention on the issue, let's do something!
