yea right i doubt you got the recon armor because I just checked your service record and you weren't wearing it so w/e don't start up any rumors and guys who work for Bungie, don't let these -blam!-s put you down you guys made a great game and it was the best game ever made so who cares if we can't get some little helmet to wear and make us look cool it's a good game, it's fun and it has 5 million people online every time i get online but please clear up a few of thw rumors because i don't want that crap to start up again and waste another 2 hours of my life because that's valuable halo 3 time.

I think that Halo 3 is one of the best games I have played, the new armor is great, I just hope that Bungie will bring back some of the Halo 1 and Halo 2 maps that made the game as popular as it is today, and make some new Halo 3 maps. I also hope that Bungie would realease the recon armor, and even make new armor types for Spartans and Elites.

steaktacular i believe is when you when by `19 or 20 kills... someone was telling me a bungie member had a bet he'd kill someone by 19 kills or he'd by him a steak.. well he lost the bet... this is from my local halo addict.. accuracy cannot be confirmed :)

Hmmmmmm. New Maps are fine;and are always a nice addtion, but a lot of money could be saved for you,and it would be a lot cooler if we had access to every map from the previous series,(obviously not some, like Last Resort, as its an improvement), but you could add just about a total of another 40 maps, with only having to give them a minor texture update and set up weapon balance/spawn point balance, rather than having to go from scratch. I suppose Updating the textures to make them look more "modern", and would make them graphically fit in with the others. And Don't tell me weapon balance is hard, as a modder in halo 2 i have a reasonable idea about playing with people/weapon spawnpoints. It's not hard, just time consuming.

I think the Recon Helmet and flames for Bungie employees only is a fantastic idea. Please never EVER release them to public.... not in a competition or charity auction or anything.

Nice to know new maps are in the works, thank you. Bungie staff and special affiliates deserve distinctive armor. They earned it by making the game...not just playing it. Kudos man! and burn baby, burn!

How about we get some smaller arena type maps for MLG? MLG kept Halo 2 alive, atleast give it some good maps to play with. Right now all the maps are horrible. Remake Midship, Lockout (correctly), and Warlock; or atleast make maps like them.

Well, the helmets/armor or whatever isn't bugging me. Sure I'll deal with the fact that Bungie has stuff that we don't since they created the game. It's just the amount of times I and the vast majority of other gamers have been denied of content that we really would have liked to see or use in game. Not every game is going to be perfect, but half the time I'm wondering about which content I can actually use in Halo. I won't say that you should change anything in the game since that would be quite annoying but I just want Bungie to consider opening a few doors for common gamers like me. By this I mean some content that you may have decided to take out of the game that my friends and I feel may have improved the game rather than harm it. Examples, Halo for Xbox: not being able to drive the wraith, taking out the fuel rod and flamethrower Halo 2 Xbox: taking out the mongoose, taking out many weapons, can't use fuelrod in multyplayer Halo 2 PC: VISTA ONLY, what I can't have Halo and Halo2 on the same operating system? Halo 3: you denied working on the project after there were already halo 3 boxes in my local gamestop LOL However Halo 3 solved most of these problems and the overall result of the product has been phenomenal. I just hope that Bungie's future releases doesn't end up like Half-life2 beta.

Any of you guys actually old enough to remember what games used to be like should see the game for what it is. Damn fun and the best of its kind. You all talk like Bungie owe you something. You owe them for being allowed to own 3 years of their lives for just $60. Thats a bargin. Though if you paid $130....your just a sucker for a marketing gimmick :)

bungie should have not even put anything about gilbert on their! that makes me mad. just cuzz he's famous, worry about other stuff like cheating or modding or crap like that, cuzz i know 1 things for sure you wouldn't want som1 writing stuff about you to over 1 million viewers, so think next time, for all of us

I can't beleive that people are attacking bungie staff over their recon armor. Jerks. Besides I think that they should have there own armor, just so no one can say I killed lukems or something without a save video of the recon armor.
