Deep storyline

What book/movie/video game have you seen the deepest storyline you know in? I just wondered. Mine's the quite simple Halo storyline, and yet is the deepest I've seen!

It's a very good book.
If somebody hasn't attempted to read Dune at too young of an age they can't call themselves a nerd in good faith.
i was around 13 when i started reading the series. i think i was 15-16 when i finished, and had a decent understanding of the books. Dune shouldn't be too much of a problem to tackle early on. obviously you're going to miss out on some of the deeper issues, but it's still graspable. even Dune Messiah is that way. Children of Dune started getting complicated for me, and God Emperor Dune just got worse in that respect. i started reading Heretics of Dune and was thoroughly convinced that i was destined to live out the rest of my days as a garbage man (no offense to any garbage men out there). a year later i finished it. then i picked up Chapterhouse: Dune and went through the same garbage man doubts.
