I wish I could help you but I'm in a similar situation. I can play the social playlist but I can't play any ranked games. It tells me I have to be a gold subscriber to play. I suppose I'm happy that I can at least play unranked games but it would be nice if it really worked like a gold account.

I still can't get this "3 free days of gold" to work. It still show that I need to be a gold member. I've sign out then back in. Turn off the xbox the back on. Everything. It let me play on the 25th but not today. Anyone have any ideas?

i dont know if anyone will read this but ive been watching those live action films and the one that came out today the 14th believe on yahoo.com is the best one yet its so sad and great at the very end when he looks up the hole video is amazing and i cant comment at yahoo on it or you tube so i am here and i hope some one agrees with me that if the chief dies i die because i have been attached to the mc since h1 i really feel like hes a part of me i no its wierd but i got relly emotional when i saw that the brute was holding him up and his head was limp then when he looked i was like cheesy but freakin awesome any way the videos are great halo3 will be great bungie is great i feel better and i have to go feed my dog so rock on and kick a...ss... in halo 3 we're all here to have fun and put others down because you killed them with a br from across the map...tim. anyway im done.

to XEatar: have you played Bioshock? it has a little tool to set the brightness on your TV correctly. i imagine it will be something like that, maybe more settings though. and yes, the only thing i want more than that car is the Warthog WETA made. boner boner boner.

ZOMG THAT CAR IS AMAZINGGGGG! seriously i want that sooo bad. i don't actually need the theater though. all you get is a 61"? i'm playing on a 71"! in case you've never felt the joy, its sweet. OMG HALO 3!!!

Dial-up has huge latency, slow speeds, and well just you being across the world is bad. Hell, for some games (GoW is one), 4mbps wasn't even enough to play without lagging out! someone clarify the fine print for me..... i'm still playing on a vintage xbox and really can't upgrade until after the launch (baby in the hopper). part of the rules say "no purchase necessary," but it seems i have to have halo 3 and xbox 360 to enter. is that the case? are old xbox users not eligible??

Wow...I'd kill for that to be my first car. Then again, not exactly the IDEAL car to bring into a High School Parking lot. You'd need at least 5 security guards armed to the teeth to protect it from being vandalized. I'd love it... I've preordered from Best Buy, so hopefully I'll at least get some MSPoints. Hopefully...

this kind of -blam!- really starts to piss me off, i mean there are so many really awesome things going on and so many awesome contests that I and a lot of other fans get left out of because we don't live in the states. its a little more understandable for it not to be available to some place like new Zealand but i mean Canada is just a little more north and almost every contest I've seen related to halo... any halo has always been for the usa only... its just frustrating
