What I find funny is how defensive you guys are of Anime. THIS is one of the reasons those of us who don't like it think the people who are all into Anime are weird...because instead of just accepting that some people don't like Anime, you go off and get all defensive about it. Honestly, I do think the people who draw it have talent. But I've never seen a human being with giant eyeballs, pin noses, and mouths that fluctuate in size from almost microscopic to big enough to eat an entire cow. Yeah, sure, lots of Anime has stuff like explosions and violence and crap, but I'd rather watch war movies. Not only are they usually based on real experiences, they're cooler too. Also, I think the Japanese are perverts for their Anime. Half their stuff is almost -blam!-. People who draw soft--blam!- cartoon characters flying robots that turn into spaceships and then fight with laser swords and crap like that are a little messed up in the head.
