Halo 2 Piracy
Last night a pirated copy of Halo 2 was released onto the internet. Needless to say we think this really sucks. Aside from years of hard work being stolen from us, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the details of the Halo 2 campaign remain a mystery for players to experience for themselves on November 9th. Microsoft is currently engaged in a full scale investigation and to those foolish enough to partake in this piracy, you will soon witness the firepower of this fully operational battle station.
Members of the Bungie community - we need your help. The Underground Army is being called into action; this is not a drill. Anyone who has information regarding the leak of the game or individuals or websites promoting the download of these illegal files is asked to please contact us by sending email to [b]piracy@microsoft.com[/b] or calling 1-800-RULEGIT. We also ask that you help us minimize the spoilers for those opting to wait for the retail release by refraining from posting screens, talking about the story and deleting any such posts you encounter. Many of you have already been actively tracking down and forwarding links to us and we thank you for your help.

I also thought that it wouldn't be this year that the game would be on PC! I would never have imagined that this could happen to Halo 2!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I will spend some serious time hunting down those who have dared to be unfaithful, to play a pirate Halo 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so crazy and I am so mad, that I won't write here much more. Only that I will use my Admin powers in my group to bann people who spoil my life. It's true! Those bastards, don't they understand that the mission must remain top secret for it to succeed, don't worry bungie, Killer Slinky will help. I don't actually know anything, but if your flaming nijas aren't enough to combat this new enemy, give me a call. I have an extremely pointy end. P.S. On a serious note, I feel for you bungie, and don't worry, loyal fans will pay money for the game even if they could download it or whatever (I dont see how a version on the p.c. can go to the xbox). Anyway, BUNGIE RULES!

I just got blindsided by a huge spoiler and I hope it isn't true. I think I will stay off of the boards until after 11/09. BTW great job Bungie, sorry to hear about this whole thing.

May the pirates burn in hades! As much I crave info. as I can get about this game, I will do my best to avoid reading anything from the pirated version. It'll be tough but it's my way of supporting Bungie. I'm in software development also and the thought of my hard work being stolen burns my butt! Thanks for the incredible work you all have done. there is a guy who nows something, his post is on: "halo2 has gone gold" i don'd now if he has the game or not be he says something about the singelplayer mission's. All ways ready for duty sir.
