I don't know exactly what to say. I've contributed to the positive and negative experiences of many members over my time here. As well, I've done give aways and contests and assortments of playdates through chapters and other sub-communities found on this website. While I haven't posted any MegaThreads (see cortana 5s' Destiny Thread), I've just done a lot of actual posting, wether it be participating in random conversations, helping members find resources for things, answering the questions i can answer, attempting to help people with mailsack challenges, blah blah blah blah blah. All in all, What have I really done? I've been myself, I've grown, I've watched the community grow, and i've attempted to give back the awesomeness that i've been honored to receive over the past near 8 years. I've met other members at events (ODST Truck Tour, PAX), even just had random dinners (SoCal meet ups with Ibmeubu, NTP, Madman redux, PsychoTex). Hell, I've even been on the receiving end of the love/support this community has to offer when my daughter was born. As for making a "difference", I don't exactly know how to interpret that. As i said above, i've contributed to members experiences positively and negatively. I'm not any more special than someone who joined the website two days ago, and i'm in love with that fact. We all have voices, and they all come together as a full community rather than a few loud voices trying to overshadow the rest (Or at least that's all i care to think, because i try to ignore the people who speak over others). I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, OP. It was nice to think about all of these things. But... I was trying to read your thread in a positive lighthearted manner, but sometimes sarcasm doesn't communicate well via text.
