Halo 2 Launch Date and Special Limited Edition!
Halo 2: Release Date and Collector's Edition Unveiled

Halo 2 will be available in stores on November 9, 2004. That's the long and the short of it. You'll be playing Campaign, multiplayer or both on November 9th. And if you pre-order, you'll have the chance to purchase an extra-fancy collector's edition in a metal box.
I can still remember that feeling of buying my first ever game. In my case, it was the Atari 2600 game COMBAT. I remember taking the bus home and reading the instruction manual. "52 different games in one!" Admittedly they were all variants of the same game, but, that feeling of rushing home to play it, but cherishing that pristine box of your favorite game is an irreplaceable feeling. Of course back then, the boxes were made of cardboard and mine got wet and disintegrated within a week.
That's why we're pleased, no, elated to announce the existence of the Halo 2 Limited Collector's Edition in its cool, steely silver, embossed, satin-finished, perfect, metal box.
The Halo 2 Limited Collector's Edition is available to players who pre-order the game - those who have already pre-ordered, will probably be contacted by their retailer to see which version they want, but to be safe, we recommend contacting your retailer directly and making sure they know which version you want - awesome regular kind or super-awesome Limited Collector's Edition.

So they released a launch date? Well, good. How about in Halo 3 they reveal that the Master Chief is really a super advanced and maybe even cloned Indiana Jones? Think about it!! Both fight an evill group of evilness, both explore ancient sites of mystery and danger and always do something awesome that no one else can seem to do!!!! Plus Indiana has a really cool hat and the Master Chief (whom I;ve come to call Bill for easy reference) has an equally cool helmet. Ah rambling..... I reserved my SPECIAL COPY at game stop I checked at Electronics Boutique and they didn't have but it surely is at GAME STOP reserve now and if not in you country then go online and have it mailed to you geez. The GREAT CHAKA HAS SPOKEN. BUHA BUHA BUHAHAHAHA!

Well, I preordered it tonight ( the night of the release date announcement, among other things) at Electronics Boutique and I red on Gamespy that you should call and make sure that when you pre-order that you ask for the special edition thing, but when I asked they said they had information on it and never heard of it, I said that they would probably get a phone call or something soon, so I'm hoping, Ummmm, I'm wondering if the special edition will be shipped to Canada, I hope to god it does because I'm really looking forward to getting one and to brag to all my friends about it, and it looks extremely amazing, I'm sure lots of other people are wondering this, but Bungie, are you guys shipping the special edition package to Canada? And some people are wondering about if it's going to Europe, I think it would be a good thing because it gives incentive for people to pre-order, it made me go out and buy it when I saw it and I'm sure it will to many others. So Bungie, PLEASE SHIP THE SPECIAL EDITION HALO 2 CASE TO CANADA!!!!

About 6 months left. OK, summer vacation soon. That lasts for 2 months, that goes pretty fast. This is the first time I've look forward for the summer vacation to be fast over. It is just 177 days, 13 hours, 19 mins and 32 secs left till it's released! HURRAY!!! Countdown in secs: 10000000000, 9999999999, 9999999998, 9999999997.... I can't find out where to order that box thingy! I want it. Would be SO cool to impress my friend with that one!

Most Dvd's (which is what Xbox uses) Have what's called a Time Code on them, and if the time on the clock on the unit it's in isn't within and an hour and a half, it won't work (unless you change the time to match it)

I oredered mine from EB on the 1- 30-04 so I think I should get mine, but I don't think that EB is going to call and confirm. I think its going to have tom be me going in and saying heres my pre order reciept....I want the special edition.
