Quick story
So I voted for the first time this year, election day obviously about a week ago. Florida love baby!
I was so excited I couldn't stop telling everyone because I'm so happy I actually participated in the countrie's voting.
My parents ordered a pizza and I answered it. This chubby, large hipster-looking fellow answers the door, I tip him hugely and make small talk because I'm an awesome dude.
I happily tell the guy I voted for the first time this year and it felt awesome to be a part of the country. He scoffed and said, "Yeah I remember when I thought I mattered too, kid."
Before I could stop myself....I said, "That's exactly the response I'd expect form a pizza guy. I hope you stay poor dude."
And I slammed the door in his face...
Keep in mind my house is pretty much a castle. So this rubbed it in more. Reflecting back on it I feel like I was rude, but I don't like when people are openly ignorant. In my opinion if you don't vote you don't have a right to complain about politics.
Was i in the wrong here?
Posted by: Baph117 Did you vote for Romney? Because that would be perfect.
^this. Also, if you're only 18, he is doing better than you. Your parents paid for that pizza, that house, your clothes. You have no right to judge.
