What is this? One can't let the quality of a game be determined by democracy, that's ridiculous; the system is flawed. There are simply too many reasons for why it doesn't work, such as being able to vote/vote against without having played it, not having reference of what a specific game meant for its time, yet being able to vote for a game that resonates with ones time. And how does the fact that one can vote against something in order for its competition to fair better, make the it worse? Example: someone who likes Marathon will vote for it and vote against Doom (its competitor), completely disregarding that Doom acted as a foundation, and that Marathon owes much its innovation to it. And the Doom devotees will do the opposite. It is now about who has the most fans.
But it's just for fun right, so no need to get worked up?
