Focus on constant foreshadowings of what is to come, make it emphasise that throughout the story, there are constant foreshadowings of Lenny's death. 3. The whole book is set in a circular structure, a circle, that according to the start, George and Lennie are trapped in. Make emphasis on how, throughout each chapter, a circle is reflected, wherein although events happen that make an emphasis, ultimately nothing changes. Expand on how, although the large event of Lennie's death happened, ultimately the circle will continue for George reflecting how each chapter reflects this. 4.Refer to how, looking at the other character's, specifically Crooks and Candy, they show signs they too where once in this circular structure, and that eventually, it has made them world weary, leaving them in a hard to escape from position, to which they almost seem ready to die, wanting to drown in Nostalgia of their past, before they where forced into the circle, Crook's for this especially. 5. Refer to the fact that they constantly quote this dream, and how this can reflect the American dream, that it is unreachable, as anybody who does not fit in is killed, or looked down upon, seen as a lower case of existence, Crooks, Lenny, Candy specifically, and how even if you do fit in, you are just the little man, a stepping stool for things larger than yourself to use you, and crush your dreams.
