Et 2am Brute?
Wednesday morning, at 2am PST (Pacific Standard Time) on December 20th, we'll be going Live on Xbox Live Marketplace with the next in our series of Vidocs - a series of video documentaries about you guessed it, Halo 3.

in the background on one of the multiplayer maps u can see the new spnker it looks as if it has an energy suply because the lights look like plasma

it is a plasma turret and yea that will be cool 2 use it. plus i hope the chief can use the marine turret that thing could dish out some punishment

someone wanna tell me why those big teddy bears r killin my marines,i mean the brute ripped his arms off and then crushed him with the hammer,so come on let the marine die a fast death not a slow n painful one. lol jk that was pretty sweet though if thats a old doc imagine wat the final is gonna look like plus i would like 2 see a spartan 3 vs a chief brute wouldnt that be cool.

I just saw this today and I'm not going to look through 22 pages of this to find out if someone mentioned this or not. If that's not finished grafics I don't know what is. The blood looked kind of cheap (I know that's a placeholder). The spit second that the AR was shown gave me the idea that this is going to be sick. Seeing the Brute break-off the Marine's arm and the Brute that mauled the Marine would make this the bloodiest Halo we've seen. That's going to make this Halo the Marines worst nightmare. I hope that you can't use dual swords, but your allies using it would be okay. No matter what Bungie does, this is going to be the best game for 07. [Edited on 12/22/2006]

Theres a chance it could be the arbiter, or possibly just a regular elite. Remember that the elites are no longer part of the covenant so their armour is likely to change. [Edited on 12/22/2006]

the character in the middle of th brute pack looks like the arbitor... pretty easy to see it in the large dl of the doc... yell at me if this has been seen already

Hey anyone notice the SMG? It looked bigger and more powerful. I can only cross my fingers hoping it is. It'd make somone wet themselves when your duel wielding and gunning the heck out of them. [Edited on 12/22/2006]

So, are more vidocs coming? If so, is there a schedule when they will be released? I'd just like to say that I agree with lots of things the folks in the vidocs said about halo 2's brutes. I thought that they were kind of annoying and not really fun to fight, and while these new brutes look kickass, what exactly makes them more fun to fight? The elites were fun because the shields added an interesting element to the player's tactics, the grunts are fun because it's amusing the pop them in the head, and jackel's shield's give the player interesting tactical choices as well. How is the new brute any more than the damage sponge I shot up in Halo 2? Thanks Bungie, for all the hard work you do for us. ;)

Did any one notice when the elite was using the sword against the brute it sliced off his legs? KP/Frankie.... is this something that you can talk about? Will there be some sort of animation in game for that? It would be amazing...!

Crazy good, I like the elite and brute duel, looks awsome, but when the brute droped his hammer thing, it just stayed up... wierd

Well all's I can say after watching the Gametrailers.com versions is that: #1 The shotgun looks "kickbass"!!! Great balance of distance and overall power (from what I saw) #2 I just pray that that those new shields and battle armor doesn't make them even more of a hassle and problem as the last one. It took awhile to clean out 3 of them in Halo 2 for me. #3 Those Brutes look amazing! The ape looking ones to me were almost ugly and badbass. But these new one's look terrifying in a battling sense. #4 The hammer just might be the coolest weapon I have seen for the game. I hope it has better use over a sword. I wonder if you just swing it and it does great damage or if it has to charge for a second or two then you can swing with electrifying destruction. #5 I still haven't seen anything about the Banshee. (I know people have mentioned this before).. What if in the levels with the man-cannon you can hijack a banshee from the sky in that way? That would be pretty cool. That's just a cool thought... #6 I like the expansion of character with the Brute. Nice characterization! Well, I can't say for sure what I think, since it is only partially pre-finished. I know the dual wielded swords don't exactly exist in Halo 3, but I do wonder why they would show them in the video even if just for an idea. I know they did that sort of thing with the Mongoose and now it's in Halo 3, but IDK... So I am not going to completely nix it just yet. Didn't someone from Bungie say though that by itself it has been balanced out so it's not an easy noob weapon? I don't remember, but this is a post about the Et Tu Brute vidoc.. Nice job guys! Can't wait for the next! I am curious.. What did everyone find interesting in the vidoc.. Like what new weapons, upgrades, and all of that since I only caught sight of the hammer and the shotgun... and something about the carbine, anything else?
