  • I think you have to buy it. The game can take up to 60 hours if you do about everything possible, then you can go back and be evil/good or whatever you weren't the first time. Its worth a buy, and if you won't buy it then DEFINITELY rent it and then buy it.

  • god I hated the combat system in KOTOR I thought it would be more like a cross between Diablo2/LOTR style.

  • The combat system in kotor is easy to pick up. Once you learn it, it's easy. By the end of the game it was better to have the combat system the way it was. And I've beaten kotor at least half a dozen times.

  • i played this game and hated it for the first 20-30 mins. learn what's going on, then love it, love it like a baby. AN AWESOME BABY! i beat it in 50 hours the first time, then played through again and beat it in 23. (what the hell was i doing the first time through??) i then played it a 3rd time. this game is awesome, can't wait for the sequel. i thought being a light side jedi was more fun, but hey it is pretty funny at times to be dark side. i don't want to give anything else away.

  • The game play is awesome, and you can chose what to say, whether to kill someone for their money or help them etc. and the story is really good. I don't want to spoil anything but the story line is one of the best in any games I've played. IMO, the only game with no XBL multiplayer better than this game for the xbox is Halo. I think Kotor's storyline is better than Halo's.

I did light side first, but dark side is more fun. There is nothing more entertaining than saying to Juhani "No... I just haven't found a way to ditch you yet" :D And HK47 is the best character in ANY game. This game takes place 4,000 years before SW EP I so Yoda isn't in it. I can't spoil the fate of this Jedi Council (Technically you don't meet the jedi council, just a council that trains people. The Jedi council is on Coruscant)

  • It took me about 35 hours to beat it the first time. I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite games and HK47 does kick major ass. You should definately buy it cause it may take you a couple of times beating it before you find/do everything.

  • it was fun to be dark side towards the end, *you know what i'm talking about* however i really liked maxing out my character on light side, the way the picture looks and you finally get some decent looking robes at the end. it was cool to have the option of 2 sabers or a staff or just one. my light side character used a green and a blue saber but when i got that sword, the bacca one (something like that) i used my green saber and that, wow i kicked alot of ass back in the day. *SPOILER* (kind of) the best was going to korriban as a light jedi, those pricks were so -blam!-. one last thing, on manaan, WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?! that underwater part made me want to shove hot forks in my eyes and stick my dick in a blender. i'm sure that would have been more fun and less time consuming than walking wround in that -blam!- suit.

  • I also like trying to sell Juhani to that chump on Manaan. Anyways, it is an awesome game, and I'll give you a hint, your first time playing through, you dont really need to pick light or dark side, just do whatever you want to, I leaned towards the more funny lines in the game to use than the presdigious ones. Also playing trhough the first time you will me ALOT of quests, I missed over half of them because I didnt know what the hell I was doing, but when you play through your second time, you find more quests than your first, I also recommend playing through as only one light or dark type there, like do everything dark or do everything light. The third time through, you usually find all the quests/items worth using and all the glitches. Also the contenet download is really cool, you can get tons of awesome rare stuff there, and also sell whatever you ahve to the guy for triple or more than anywhere else.

  • yea, its a great game... but not something i would try to beat 20 times... for me it gets kinda boring after beating it once... its like... go to the planet, find star map, go to another planet, repeat... its a great game and everything but i like having freedom... long live Morrowind...
