Should I do the beta tester survey for bungie?
Well? That little add thing is pestering me and just now looking it, it seems to be asking for a decent amount of things including some pretty ludicrous things (That "do you play to make players upset" thing).
So is it worth doing guise?

Can't hurt. I think they're more interested in the statistics than actually wanting to qualitatively pick their testers based on whether they troll in games or not.

I did mine, didn't take very long. Never heard any news of it ever again, as well as a lot of other people.

I'm no expert or anything but when people invite you for a beta they tell people it's going on so more people can sign up. If you take a look at other developers a beta stages happen after they've announced a product. Bungie hasn't announced their new game so beta isn't going on. If there was a beta it would be probably ready to ship in a few months

I perfectly knew that people are doing getting information back, DeeJ was supposed to be a tester, but became the new Urk.

You might as well throw your name in the hat. Even though the odds of you being chosen as a tester are probably worse than a million to one, it can't hurt you to try.

Read the circled [url=http://awesomescreenshot.com/01bc61wbb]bit[/url]. I doubt they are going to put something like that without meaning it. Not all of those hundreds of thousands can go to Bungie HQ.

A private beta will usual consist of a sample of people outside of the development team who will test the game and give feed back on bugs, playability, stability and all that jazz. They will still sign a N.D.A. A public beta is [mostly] after a private beta (but not always) and when the game is almost completely finished. It is generally a test to see how online play copes with a larger number of players than could be privately tested. They don't usually have to sign an NDA. (Halo: REACH) No all games have a private beta and not all games have a public beta. It depends on time constraints and resources. *Don't take my word as gospel. I'm not in the games industry......[i]yet[/i]!

What I'd like to know is if the surveys are attached to my account. If it keeps clearing does that mean that they are all independent forms? If I type in 4 different emails does that mean that 4 independent applications have been filled out....or is the most recent application [i]my[/i] form?

The survey confuses me, I have done it before but when I go back to it its blank. Is that bad or what?

I guess it's just handier to reset the form. It still stores your last submission.
