FWC: Future War Cult or something else.....
I propose rather than FWC being the Future War something it is actually the Free World Coalition. Here's my reasoning. So we Have the New Monarchy. This is obviously a group that is in control or is seeking control. It only makes sense that there is an opposition force. None of the others seem to fit. Furthermore, the FWC logo doesn't look all that militaristic to me. If anything else it looks bright and welcoming. Almost like a campaign banner. Any other theories?

The Future War Cult are using the irony between their name, logo, and ideals to stand out as a group. It's and act of rebellion and an attempt to make them seem unpredictable. But this feigned ignorance of common sense, and their chic logo makes it all too obvious what they really are... Space hipsters, shipsters for short (you heard it here first) Their intentions are good but in the end they are easily manipulated. Look into my eye and do not tell me otherwise.

That info blurb for the [url=http://www.bungiestore.com/Bungie-Day-Blue-Mens/M/B008I8GM8A.htm]shirt[/url] says "drape yourself in an enigma", reminds me of Winston Churchill's whole "It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma" quote. Churchill was a Freemason and allegedly into the occult, and he was also working to get England involved in WW2. Perhaps the Future War Cult is similar; a shadowy organisation with far-reaching goals working to bring about a greater conflict.

Heh, I actually had a huge list of possible FWC meanings. A column of words for each letter. My favorite was "Fringe World Coalition".
