I propose to you a Question.
So what if there is intelligent life in the universe but we, Humans just happen to be evolving the fastest, so for this case lets just say yes. So we finally master space flight and we finally reach intelligent life out in the great abyss that are at the stage of evolution that we are at today, now most of us today think that if there are races more dominant to our own they would destroy and or enslave us. But what if we were in there shoes, what do you think this glorious human empire would do?

Being human, we would probably see them as a threat, kill them all off while decreasing our population by about half because of war, then realize that what we did was wrong , but ,forget it in a couple of decades.

If they are attractive then we will -blam!- them.

hmm were to begin. as soon as they set fot on earth theydd be straight in front of a camera so theyve got id and then tax them on everything they want to do. on a more serious note we would experiment on them, as we seem to need to understand everything, in turn would create large problems. our race wouldnt sit back and be happy we found another lifeform, as that isnt enough.

It depends on who is on power, if its a dictator then they will probably become out slaves, if we have a good leader then we will probably have then evolve as a society
