I want to see in Halo Three.

Something like iRig-B, only less than 40 tics per second and using the NIC timing instead of a True-Time board. The host can act as the clock master. Any client that constanly sends out of sync data gets dropped because they are probably cheating. 2). Encrypted data to slow down the modbox cheaters. You know mod-chips for the 360 are on the way. Its just a question of when. 3.) Weapons that are modern for the time. The rocket launcher in Halo 2 was modern 40 years ago. The OICW is in development now. Why is there nothing like it in 200+years? The needler and plasma pistol have target tracking, but a weapon system like the Scorpion does not!? Make the vehicle weapon systems modern by including targeting and guidence. The balance to that is personal ECM. 4.) Destructable environments. But make it take 8 minutes of tank fire to destroy a base in a 10 minute game. 5.) Better weapon effects. Like an armor piercing HE round should piece the armor and BLOW UP! 6.) Armor and shields should account for some kind of protection. Get rid of the one-shot kill. Just say no to insta-gib. 7.) Just say no to level Bosses. Please! Nothing ruins the immersion effect in a game like an invulnurable (for no reason) opponent. 8.) On harder play levels like Legendary, instead of making the master chief easier to kill than an unarmored, unsheilded tech, put in more enemies like was done in Halo CE. 9.) An invasion/onslaught mode of multiplayer like in UT2003 where you get ever increasing waves of enemies. 10.) Allow AI enemies in multiplayer ala Marathon, M2, MI. 11.) Armor and shields should not be totally useless in the back. If anything, they should be more effective. I'm not saying take the assassination out. Just make it more realistic. If somebody is standing still you should be able to sneak up behind them for an assassinatin (one-hit kill). If somebody is moving, jumping, turning, ducking, then you should not be able to get a one-hit kill assassination. 12.) Body parts ala Myth. 13.) Shrapnel effects from debris caught in a blast ala Myth. 14.) Ditch the stupid excuse for a physics system called Havoc. The physics of Myth, Marathon, and Halo CE were much more fun. I'll take interesting physics effects over a well done "rag-doll" any day. 15.) Don't make AI, physics, and gameplay suffer at the expense of pretty graphics. 16.) Multiplayer levels big enough to require pelican transport and prevent sniping from one end to the other. 17.) Base fired TOW missles. ie you get a view from the nose of the missle. Can be shot down. 18.) Wider FOV. 19.) Trigger-able grenades. ie throw a grenade, but hold the trigger, grenade does not blow up until the trigger is released. Or throw grenade, pull trigger a second time to detonate. 20.) Bring back the ability to cook off grenades ( chain reaction) like in Halo CE. [Edited on 5/10/2006 by Anton P Nym]
