Campaign Data Lost -_- Nice one
If there's already a thread, I can't find it. Direct me to it. If there isn't, which I doubt.. Then I'll just start this one.
What the hell happened. Like really. Why do I start the game and it has me select my gender and all the Armor is *New and the things I've previously unlocked are available but I go to start a campaign lobby to do the daily challenges and all my campaign progress is gone.
Really? WTF kind of Bobby Brown, Arsenio Hall -blam!- is this. If it's not the insane lag or "Starting Game" screen two or three times a match it's this... -_-

Everything's been fine in campaign for me until today. "Merry Christmas! Your campaign data's gone!" Well, this is annoying. I certainly hope there's a patch for this, or I will pretty much stop playing Reach entirely. Campaign was the last good part about the game. Multiplayer makes me want to scream obscenities for total BS moves, Firefight is so laggy you have to lead point blank shots, and now my campaign eats itself. Wonderful. Just wonderful.

Just happened to me. They managed to ruin campaign, the only good thing left in this game. Damn it, just give us Halo 2 with matchmaking.

This just happened to me. I selected the campaign challenge and it asked "Are you sure?". Then, I was on Noble Actual again. I don't want to be on Noble Actual again. I had just finished the sixth chapter on Legendary. Sigh.

Just happened to me. Like someone said earlier, if I don't get a bug fix, I expect a full 150 dollar refund. This is unnacceptable. Hours and hours of miserable yet non-stop campaign playing, only for it to be reset for no reason! If there is no patch before Christmas, goodbye halo, hello Black Ops

This happened to my brother today. Lost his campaign progress and reset his armour, emblem etc. I really hope Bungie are looking into this because I don't want it to happen to me...

Dear Bungie - Never thought this would happen to me as well but it just did today. Fortunately I've finished my solo legendary run, but it's annoying to have all of my campaign progress vanish and be forced to redo the Legendary campaign all over again. Please address this flaw asap. Can you imagine how this makes us players feel? To have beaten solo Legendary and have it taken away just ... sucks.

This -blam!- happened to me too, right after me and a friend played CO-OP! i had two more missions to go for the legendary(alone) achievement cmon bungie, fix this

I just lost all my campaign progress.... Lucky I beat it solo Legandary first.

hmm don't know whether all of you really had every save lost in campaign. because in my experience when i thought my progress was not saved because at the title menue it says campaign start instead of campaign continue. But that was because i played the first two levels without saving in the middle of the game. So when i highlight the level, it shows the levels where i have access and the ones i have completed. And when i save in the mid of a game and actually progressed further but did not save and quit in the mid of the game again, it loads the pervious save. So make sure to check in the levels selection which level you have completed actually. But for those who said they lost their armor and rank, that is really creepy :(

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I made an offline account on my roommate's xbox since I don't have my xbox at school and thought it'd be a nice way to preview all the armor before buying it on my actual live account. I was forging for the past couple hours and turned off the xbox for a bit. I come back an hour later and it just gave me the "Welcome to Noble team" page asking for my gender. I didn't even get to keep my cR or armor like some people, it's as if I had started a completely new game. Besides the saved maps I made in forge and my achievements... Damn I had just gotten to Warrant Officer grade 3 too =/ [Edited on 10.15.2010 2:15 AM PDT]

Same here I finished all of the missions on legendary except the pillar of autumn then when I get on today its all gone!

Same thing happened to me... Beat it on Heroic, have all the achievs. Logged in and got a welcome to noble team message with all my settings set back to default, had to redo my armor and emblem etc but lost my save for campaign solo :(

I have nevered lost data in halo but i lost data on the dum wii because of the pointing thingy sensor but eh who cares i don't play it any more

Same thing happened to me. was lucky enuf to finish campaign on heroic first. it showed my entire armory as "new" but didnt re-lock the items i already had/purchased/equiped. and i also got the "welcome to noble team" message too.

*raises hand* Another Victim. I was lucky enough to have finished my solo legendary run though. Maybe I'll get lucky and this reset will cause my bungie.net Reach avatar to finally update... not holding my breath though.

why do people keep on saying 'do it on easy' wtf some of us are good at the game and thats why we were doing it on legendary solo in the first place!

This happened to me as well. It kept popping up with a message saying failure to write and eventually I lost everything >_>

I lost my data to, all except my saved game, but all my levels are gone. What sucks is that I was 3/4 of the way through the last level on legendary. :( sad face
