Halo: Waypoint armours.
When Halo: Reach comes out, I plan to stick the game in load the menu.(To get it as a confirmed played on my account) Then Go back to dashboard load Halo: Waypoint. Get the armors THEN lastly: load up Halo: Reach and play the game.
Will this work? Will I get the armors(I have most of the Halo: 3/ODST achievments save for a couple on each game.) But I'm not sure how Halo Waypoint unlocks armours...

And the Halo Waypoint awards are unlocked by getting certain achievments and milestones. (getting a certain HALO gamerscore) Like the last attachment (this is the only example i can give for i forgot the rest) is CQB armor forehead. You get that by milestone,something like 20, a halo 3/ODST achievment( This is specific), and abeating LEdgendary on Reach. Then you go to Waypoint to claim ur prize. ( THe achievments are specific, so you can't just have random achivment.) [I suggest you go to waypoint on ur XBOX 360 and 1.) update, and 2.) go to the Reach Armor tab. You can look up the Waypoint specific armors and how to unlock there.] solarshadowfire

Thanks for this it helped A LOT i was starting to get confused for a second wondering if there was a certain amount of Reach achievements i had to get so they have to be related in some sort of way?

I never said anything about Halo Wars achievments. But thanks for the info anyway. I'll see what I can do about those achievments.

Waypoint Armor Breakdown: In order to unlock armor pieces in Reach related to Waypoint, you must unlock achievements in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach. I'll give an example. I have all the achievements for both Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. When I unlock achievements in Reach that are related to ones found in 3 and ODST according to Waypoint, armor pieces will unlock in Reach much like they did in Halo 3 for completing achievements only it's a little more complicated. Simply get as many achievements as you can in Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST over the next month (preferably all) and when Halo: Reach comes out, get all achievements in that too. Now visit Halo Waypoint on your Dashboard and access your Halo Career Stats. Halo Waypoint will scan your Halo-related achievements and then award you the appropriate Avatar Awards and Reach armor variants according to your achievement statistics and Milestones. Now this is all Bungie-title Halo games and you're asking what Halo Wars has to do with this. Well, it has nothing to do with it as it was developed by a different studio and is not in any relation to the Reach armor variants or Bungie Halo titles of any kind. However, if you unlock all the Halo Wars achievements (assuming you have unlocked all the Halo 3 and ODST achievements), you will be rewarded with a Blue EVA helmet from Halo 3 for your Avatar.

I betchya there'll be armor for having the beat Normal-Legendary on Halo 3, Normal-Legendary on ODST, and Normal-AMTAYS on Reach.

by the sound of things we probably wont get armor from waypoint immediately because they said it requires achievements from reach aswell, so you may have to get certain reach achievements before you get any extra armor

What I'm asking is basicly: How does HW unlock the armors and will it work Day one? Or do I have to play through Campaign first before I can get them. Stuff like that.
