Do any of the voice actors get in on the mocap as well? Obviously you guys are using some well known voice talent we have seen in films and TV shows, and some of them we are pretty used to a certain body language/mannerisms to go along with the voice. I was thinking that might be going in extra mile in trying to really sell the performance. In other words, do you have pics of Nathan Fillion in tights? [Edited on 02.18.2010 2:47 PM PST]

Great article. I love seeing what's going on behind the scenes. also, TRIBES! hell yeah, represent! That's the game that started it all for me. I do miss my jet pack but thanks to Halo I can simulate the experience in custom games ;p

Mad props for this article urk. I mentioned it before in a previous news story but I'll say it again here: Bungie consistently has some of the best animation in the business and Reach looks to be raising that bar. The movements of everything looks so natural to what it is (Marine, Spartan, Elite, Jackal). It's great to get a look in on how the MoCo aspect of this factors in.
