Fusion Rifles

I've been using Fusion Rifles since the beginning despite all of the changes from updates. In my opinion, I think Fusion Rifles should be given a slight buff in stability and damage output; however, all non-exotic Fusion Rifles should also have one shot taken from the magazine to compromise for the buff. I believe all of the non-exotic Fusion Rifles would be improved with this compromise. Most of the non-exotic Fusion Rifles have enough in the magazine already and this would influence the significance and diversity of perks for Fusion Rifles like accelerated coils, faster reload speed, bigger magazine size, more range, etc. What do you guys think?

  • Bump. To clarify, the one shot taken from the magazine would be put into reserve ammo as we don't hold enough ammo for Fusion Rifles as it is, in my opinion.

  • Bump. I have 4 screenshots to display the random projectile spread of Fusion Rifles. Fusion Rifle #1 Shot #1: http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z377/oObeX/Fusion%20Rifle%201_zpsszxiflzv.png Fusion Rifle #1 Shot #2: http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z377/oObeX/Fusion%20Rifle%202_zpslp200esv.png Fusion Rifle #2 Shot #1: http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z377/oObeX/Fusion%20Rifle%203_zpsarelmabq.png Fusion Rifle #2 Shot #2: http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z377/oObeX/Fusion%20Rifle%204_zps6vxfqzpz.png The random projectile spread needs a fix. Make the spread more consistent, less variable. Sometimes a Fusion Rifle will shoot left, right, or down the middle. Sometimes a Fusion Rifle will shoot with wide gaps between each projectile and sometimes the spread is more precise. Most weapons in this game have distinct and unique recoil and projectile spread. In one of my posts in this thread I talked about two Pulse Rifles with predictable recoil very different from one another. Fusion Rifles need more of this predictability to differentiate Fusion Rifles from each other a little bit and give a little bit more character to each.

  • Fusion Rifles need more predictable recoil and projectile spread. They're one of the few weapons in the game with random projectile spread. For example, if you compare the recoil from Spare Change with that of The Villainy, then you will see two very distinct patterns. Fusion Rifles need these patterns in the projectile spread to make the recoil more predictable and unique per weapon. The projectile spread shouldn't be exact for every single burst, but it should definitely be less variable between bursts with only a few different patterns expressed per Fusion Rifle.

  • I would like to see more unique perks come with Fusion Rifles too. Shot Package, Performance Bonus, Crowd Control, Third Eye, Feeding Frenzy, etc.

Sounds good! I loved the Thesan FR4, but ever since the new patch, its Stabilty sucks along with general accuracy.
