After "This Week At Bungie" update. It has been made BLATANTLY CLEAR!
This isn't even funny or cute anymore. PvE content is no longer a factor in this game anymore and now I am officially turned off. Turned off to the point where after readin the update, I immediately went to my local gamestop to purchase "Final Fantasy XIV" to Pay a Subscription fee (roughly $145 a year) to have some consistent forum of entertainment in the PVE spectrum. Now some of you may not agree with that and would go against this, but I am at my limit. They have [b]PURPOSELY[/b] ignored the outcry for more in the PVE section, and its not like we are even asking for anythimg new, we're just asking to make the current relevant and that isn't even worthy of giving a quick thought to. I have never in my life thought of paying a monthly subscription fee for any game until now. I love the community and I hope, those of you who are having fun, continue to do so. As for me. I'll be back playing when Destiny is PVE friendly again.

2 RepliesWow. And I mean that in a good way. Got your point across without the snide complaining. Expressing that you're alright with paying for a $145/year subscription on a game is something I can agree with, especially if the story is something I can get into. I love the Destiny universe, but I'd like to learn more about it at this point. As such, I've also moved away from Destiny for a while, although I'm addicted to Ark at the moment. XD No real story there (at least not yet), but the challenge is great!

8 RepliesYep. That's why I fully quit Destiny over 8+ months ago. Got on for an hour last month to play with my sin for a bit, but after an hour, we remembered why we left the game. Just over six months ago, ESO released. I haven't looked back since. The PvP is secondary and PvE gets the focus. Exactly how it should be in an MMO. Why bring that up? Because Bungie is borrowing [b]heavily[/b] from MMO mechanics/play style with Destiny (and I know Destiny isn't an MMO... blah blah blah, but they borrow veyr heavily from the MMO genre), but still trying to manage it like any run-of-the-mill FPS. It doesn't work like that. Nope. Bungie drove me away with every action they took with this game. I came to Destiny from MMO-land. Many Gamers did. Bungie marketed this game as such a perfect mix of FPS paced action, but with MMO... everything else, that many MMO gamers decided to give it a try. After the first month or so, the MMO "feeling" was rapidly slipping away. Fast forward a year and a half and hundreds of blatant lies later, nothing is left but a hollow shell of a game. There's not even a decent FPS-style story in place. They're trying to whittle Destiny down into just the PvP aspects of an FPS. As a result, the Online RPG and MMO fans are vacating at an accelerating pace. Expect Destiny 2 to have a fraction of the sales of Destiny. Because people don't forget consumer abuses like we've been subjected to with Destiny.

This was never our game, it is their game. They made that very clear though their actions. It didnt have to be that way, but its too late now.

Go play another game which peaks your interest and play Destiny on the casual side when talking about hours towards it. I'm currently on rounds: Getting final exotic sword on my hunter. Getting FWC rep on my hunter. Getting exotic hunter faction cloaks. All of them still. Getting DO and NM titan marks on my titan main. Getting all three warlock bonds for factions. All of them. Getting the final challenge calcified fragments on my titan. Golgo and Oryx specifically. Getting to ToO Lighthouse. Been close 4 times. None of those are urgent. I'll take my sweet time getting those done. What other games do I play? Star Wars, Fallout 3 (honestly as boring as Destiny though and the mechanics for players and lack of options in-game is pretty boring. I'd rather be playing massive battlefield MMO's then Fallout), Rift on PC, Warhammer 40k on PC, Minecraft, and a few other games. Gamers don't stick around a single game because mostly? Games get repetitive and boring. Halo did that for years and I finally got my 50's? Nothing else to do, but quit or play casually on this account. I played casually. You want PvE? They already said it's coming. Quit your bitching and go play something else. It'll be better for you and everyone else...

Agreed, I just starting playing FFXIV last week. I'm on the 30 day trial version. The only thing I don't like is that almost every cutscene has no vocal dialogue, you have to read everything, not a fan. The most recent Final Fantasy games have spoiled me: FFX-FFXIII. There is one cutscene that has dialogue, I am only at Level 18.

I agree Bungie needs to add more Pve to the game it is just getting boring now. They need to add more missions, new enemies, more bosses, etc. Bungie is loosing so many players to this and they are going to loose even more if they don't add something soon. I am looking for a new game to play since destiny is not intertwining anymore.

Ogres were fixed that's pve. They won't mix the spring update hype with Crimson days. So we will likely get an update afterwards outlining the spring drop. That's when pve stuff will be. Pvp is faster with less dev time.

I quit last November. Fallout 4 was a nice break for PvE. I do like PvP though, never liked Bungie's botched wannabe sad attempt at PvP... Been having a ton of fun with Battlefront and recently, World of Tanks. Haven;t given Destiny any thought. Was bored, and checked in here and was bummed. Not much humor anymore. This was a place to go to get a good laugh and even that has faded. Bungie has killed their game...

33 RepliesSo they fix some pvp problems and don't announce up coming pve content so you have a sad about. Seriously get over it because they didn't announce anything this week doesn't mean it not around the corner. Here a fact for you it take 1/4 of cost to make pvp and to fix it than it does pve.
