Skill Based Matchmaking with a Fireteam
My friends don't want me on their iron banner fireteam because my K/D is higher than theirs. They feel we get matched against more skilled opponents because of me.
Does matchmaking take the entire fireteam's skill into consideration, or just the fireteam leader? Or is it maybe the best player on the team?
Do I really make it more difficult for them?

I don't know but it seems like it only takes into account the fireteam leader's location. For example, when they first implemented the match making changes, the first game I played every one was full green bar. Smooth as heck. I was amazed. Until I came across the only 2 people in a fireteam. One guy was green. His friend fluctuated from yellow to red. Needless to say he wasn't from the U.S.
