WTF is up with the time gate on glimmer when using consumables!?!?
You get like a certain amount for a bit, then all of a sudden it stops for a couple minutes, then finally you start getting glimmer again. TF!?!
Back in year one, I could run Will of Crota strike and pop ether seeds along with black wax idol and come out with over 2000+ glimmer with that one strike.
I just played that exact strike and got like 700 glimmer.
I know this has been brought up, but I still can't believe they pulled this and thought no one would notice.
Man....I swear I was one of the biggest defenders of y'all in year one, but it's clear you all wanna make this the most grindey game of ALL TIME.

That shit is NOT fun now having to do a strike 4 times just to get the same amount of glimmer as it used to give in just one strike 4 months ago!

This shit ain't gonna last 10 years if y'all keep operating like this.
If y'all thought the system was giving too much glimmer in the past, you shoulda never put those buffs in the game in the first damn place.

It looks like the glimmer consumables got bugged with the last update, it was the same for me today, i would get some for a bit then it would stop. I made a post on feedback to let them know, hopefully they figure it out soon, i never use those consumables but today i really needed it for the chaperone quest.

1 ReplyI agree, I was using a Vex Consumable last night to farm glimmer and I noticed too it would stop working about half way though. I didnt know what to think honestly, first time that had ever happened. Maybe this is something Bungie is looking into. Here's what I know: -The Gatekeeper checkpoint on VoG is still really useful if you can find a buddy or LFG with a checkpoint -The Citadel on Venus Patrol (spawn in , take a left, then take a right to the next area, that's the Citadel) You can use your Blue Polyphages and farm the two Yellowbar Minotaur's then drop down kill the other 3 then repeat. Its just a good spot to use up the Vex consumables considering we have no where else to use them. -Patrol Missions actually give you 200/300 glimmer now, so if you run enough Patrol missions that's a decent way to obtain glimmer.
