Saw that pop up on the bottom of the screen the other day while patrolling Venus. Immediately pulled out my sparrow and rocketed over to the VoG to lend a hand.
Anyone else do this? It's almost instinctual, am I right?

I saw the light that shines through when six beings comes together to fight an enemy that only wants to pull your soul into a black hole in time. I furiously ran to the spire, that needed a hero. A sudden whisper, a growing tension within; it has happened. We had done it. The Vault was opened, and inside an echo died as it reached us. It's said "turn back". Their resolved shifted; frightened. I pulled out my Fatebringer and through it on the ground before them. They stared at it and as the moments passed I saw them all come back. Their sense of duty and honor returned. I turned and left, afraid that any goodbyes would last forever. I heard the thunderous roar of six sparrows stampeding into the depths of the unknown and I basked in the glory that I too once felt making that same journey into the Vault of Glass.

It breaks my heart that I can't join them in the vault ;(
-
What is VoG?
-
I did this once and got invited into the raid team to do the rest, was good time
-
That's how I got into my first raid in vog. The guys were gonna 5 man it but they invited me.
-
I help when it's an actual group trying to open the door, but the last couple of times I've seen it it's been one guy trying to solo it. It's adorable, but c'mon man... lol
-
If I see that, I usually pop over and see if I can help, even if there's a full raid party. I think that, with year two, there are always going to be a few first timers running VoG.
-
I still need to go and do this raid.. 305 light and never done it
-
It's your duty, guardian.
-
Anyone up for a nostalgia run?
-
My immediate thought was "who the f*ck is doing VoG?"
-
I usually watch what happens. If they're struggling then I lend a hand then wave them off into the vault.
-
Yeah that happened to me a couple times. The first time it happened to me they had five guys. I helped them raise the spire...they invited me to the game they were nice and i got my first and only fatebringer from that run and my second vex
-
I want to but people are NEVER there when I'm patrolling.
-
This has only happened once to me, but of course I went and helped. They didn't even need my help but I helped anyway just for s/g.
-
Every time. Love posting up at the bottom sparrow road and sniping minotaurs
-
Delete Destiny and annoy people on the forums!
-
I did, but what I found were 2 lvl 20s
-
I did this a little while ago. Right after the ntte quest came available. Got an invite to join them too but the game wouldn't connect when I tried to accept.
-
If I am just running patrol then absolutely.
-
I do this every time, just to help out. Its a blast. I love helping out lower light level bros do it. Even if I don't get rewards from it, its still fun popping up and saving the day.
-
Yeah, whenever I see that, I always get temporarily sidetracked.
-
Helped a fireteam yesterday. It was fun holding down a plate.
-
I do that all the time. It's kind of a thing for me.
-
That's what I did
