PS3/4 online crossplay question - Destiny-TTK
Hi,
I know originally there were not any games that supported PS3/4 crossplay and wanted to know if the Destiny TTK expansion allows this....meaning if I have a PS3 with TTK and a friend has a PS4 with the same game is it supported? Do the player characters on the PS4 Machines exist in the same game world as the PS3 players? From a networking perspective it should be possible that the PSN carries traffic for both and doesn't prevent that from being accomplished. I have checked other places and the answer seems that it is up to the Developer of the Game to support it. Forgive me if this has already been answered. Any input welcomed.

3 RepliesIt's not. Bungie answered this a while back, they said it's because the player base would feel an unfair advantage because of current gens specs compared to last gen. In other words, you'd be better able to see a player from across the map on a ps4, and they don't want to bother having people complain about it
